Join hundreds of costumed runners at the Inaugural Chicago Costume Dash 5k on Saturday, October 26, 2019!

Put on your craziest costume and get ready for five kilometers of fun starting and finishing at Central Park in Oak Brook and a course through the picturesque McDonald’s campus!

The fun continues after the run with with a party in at the finish line featuring a costume contest and free sponsor schwag., Start your 2019 Halloween celebration in style.

Start Time: 9:00 a.m. Kensington Road and Jorie Blvd. near Central Park, Oak Brook, IL. Parking and packet pick up start will be off Kensington Road west of Jorie Blvd.

Packet Pick-Up & Race Day Registration: Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 7:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Race Rules

  1. Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a costume. Costumes must be worn during the race to be eligible to win a prize in the costume contest.
  2. Racers must be at least 10 years old.
  3. NO REFUNDS under any circumstances.
  4. All participants must sign a waiver of liability.
  5. Prices are subject to change without notice.
  6. If there is severe weather that prevents the event from being held at all on Saturday, it will be moved to Sunday. If severe weather persists on Sunday, it will be moved to a later weekend date.
  7. No weapons are allowed as part of a costume.
  8. In addition to the top three overall male and female winners, awards will be presented to the top male and female finisher in the following age groups:

Costume Contest

A costume contest will be held post-race, which includes special prizes and swag for the best costumes as selected by crowd applause, so be sure to go all out! To be eligible to win in the costume contest, you must wear your costume during the race.
